Sebastian Inlet Report

08-04-11 THURSDAY: MANGROVE SNAPPER, SPANISH MACKEREL, REDS AND SNOOK

It's beautiful morning at the inlet. We have a few clouds forecasted for this afternoon and maybe a little rain, but it's going to be hot! Be sure to take your sunscreen, lots of water and insect repellent with you if you head to the inlet. This morning winds are blowing out of the South at 6 mph and there is a light chop on the water.

We've got the same menu that we've had most of the week. Catch and release Snook, oversized Reds, Mangrove Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, a Margate or two and a Flounder here and there. There is a lot of bait in the water currently. Lots of silver mullet have been attracting a variety of fish including big Tarpon. Getting the fish to bite is the tricky part.
