Sebastian Inlet Report

09-06-11 TUESDAY: REDS, MANGROVE SNAPPER, LADYFISH, JACKS AND BLACK DRUM

Other than the heat and bugs, it's a beautiful morning at the inlet! Winds are blowing out of the South at 1 - 2 mph and there is a chop on the water. The no see 'ems are out and chowing down on the inlet anglers, be sure to take insect repellent, sunscreen and lots of water with you if you head to the inlet today.

We received an update from Mike who was on the north jetty Friday and reported the bite had slowed from the previous 4 - 5 days. During his time on the jetty only 8 - 10 keeper Reds were landed and 3 - 4 oversized Reds were caught and released. A few Mangrove Snapper, Jacks and Ladyfish came over the rails as well. Thanks for the update Mike!

Walton from the Inlet Bait and Tackle Shop reported small Pompano were starting to move in as well as Black Drum, but the weekend was slow compared to the week.
