Sebastian Inlet Report

12-08-11 THURSDAY: FLOUNDER, BLACK DRUM, SNOOK, REDS AND JACKS

Things cooled down over night and it's a real brisk morning at the Sebastian Inlet. There is a mix of sun and clouds, winds are blowing out of the North at 10 mph and the water is choppy. Inlet anglers are bundled up like Eskimos on the north jetty this morning!

Yesterday the catch included Snook, Black Drum, Reds, Flounder in the 3 - 4 lb range and a few small Jacks according to Tommy at the Inlet Bait and Tackle Shop. Reports of Snook and Tarpon hitting at night have been heard.

This cold snap turned on the Flounder bite and anglers fishing west of the tide pool on the rocks nailed some real nice ones this morning!
