From Henry @ Snook-Nook - Jensen Beach

Blues like the cooler water, they will be shallow looking for breakfast.  Not hard to feed, they are aggressive eaters, if they do not bite the one next to that one will, so even if not hungry they do not like to share.  Go to a single hook on that spoon, it is a lot easier on the fish and you.  Looking for Whiting, how many would you like, they are with us all day and they are of good size, a piece of shrimp will get their attention.  Pompano, catch that high tide, you will not have to cast as far and they will be looking for the sand fleas, clams and shrimp it is that simple, why not it is their time of the year.
River anglers are talking Red Fish, county line road and Walton Road two productive locations.  Fish the grass edges using a bait that you can crawl across the bottom or how about a live shrimp on a jig head.  Trout are in their comfort zone, three feet of water staying close to the bottom, east side of the river has been more productive but you never know.  Most of these two species have been slot fish, no monsters this week. Now about those Snook most have been over the slot, pick a bridge after sun down, cast your bait up into the current and let mother nature do the work, plenty of Snook all week.  Snapper, Jacks, Blues, Lady’s, Mac’s the catch list is long so be ready to bend a rod, good fishing from all locations
