Sebastian Inlet Report

It's as warm as a spring day at the inlet. Winds are blowing out of the East-Southeast at 10 mph, gusting to 14. Small craft should exercise caution. There are some clouds and we could see some rain later today.

Tommy Turowski at the Sebastian Inlet Bait and Tackle Shop reported that Blues and Spanish Mackerel are taking Gotcha lures and spoons. Big Reds, Snook Black Drum and Flounder were all presenting themselves over the long weekend. There are a few finger mullet and larger mullet, greenies and pinfish, but they are hard to come by. Most anglers are using shrimp, sand fleas and clams for live baits. Thanks Tommy!

Our photo today is courtesy of Bll Olexa and is of Ralph Viviano of Sebastian who landed three of these oversized Reds. All were released unharmed, to fight another day!
