Sebastian Inlet Report


02-02-15 MONDAY: HIT OR MISS ACTION 

THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION IS RENOVATING THE SOUTH CATWALK; IT IS CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. THE A-1-A BRIDGE WILL BE CLOSED INTERMITTENTLY IN 30 MINUTE INCREMENTS FEBRUARY 3 - 6, 2015 FROM 8:30 - 5:00. PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND WHEN TRAVELING OVER THE BRIDGE FROM THE NORTH OR SOUTH.

Winds are blowing out of the South-Southwest at 13 mph, gusting to 19 and there is a moderate chop on the water this morning. NOAA has issued a small craft advisory though this evening. Always check the NOAA forecast prior to boating. 

Tommy Turowski at the Sebastian Inlet Bait and Tackle Shop reported another weekend of hit or miss action. Small Blues, C/R Reds (oversized) a few Snook, some smaller Trout, Sheepshead, Black Drum and Flounder made appearances at the inlet this weekend. 
Our angler of the day is Rangelo Soriano of Miami. Rangelo landed the big, 38" C/R Red in our first photo using a spoon on the outgoing tide got this big Red's attention.
