Sebastian Inlet Report

02-10-15 TUESDAY: SLOW BITE

It's a real pretty morning at the inlet. Winds are blowing out of the West-Northwest at 8 mph, gusting to 13 and the water has a moderate chop. Winds are expected to pick up this afternoon and there is a chance of rain. NOAA has issued a small craft advisory through Wednesday afternoon.

We received an update from inlet regular Mike Ricciardi of Vero Beach who fished the north jetty yesterday morning from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 and went home empty handed. You know it's slow when the regulars go home with nothing for the table! Mike reported that 2 teeny Spanish Mackerel, 2 small Blues and one oversized C/R Red were landed during his time on the jetty.

Jose Dore of Palm Bay is featured in our photo of the day. Jose landed this 31" oversized Red yesterday morning which was released unharmed right after the photo.
