Beach Fishing With Paul Sperco Palm Beach/Martin County Area

If catching a bonefish is on your fishing bucket list then I would recommend you get a surf rod and head to Hobe Sound . Today was crazy action with the bonefish as I had some fun catching and releasing over a dozen of these speedy gamefish. I even had some double headers on the pompano rigs and believe me , having two of these hard pulling fish on is alot of fun.The EZ Flea Fish bites were the baits that produced the bonefish, bluefish, jacks, and whiting. The only species missing was the pompano . Talking to some fishermen when I arrived, it was a short daybreak bite for the pompano and then they disappeared. Large schools of mullet were making their way down the beach and I did talk to someone who had a tarpon hookup early this morning at Normandy Beach while live lining a ladyfish. Mullet schools were evident in that area and look for that to build as we head into the weekend. The pompano are around , you just have to try some different beaches and hope you intercept some of these early schools as they migrate into our area. Good luck and catch em up
