From Henry @ Snook-Nook Jensen Beach

We have beautiful weather all week then the week end, the weatherman turns on the wind weapon.
Surf fishing has seemed to settle to our summer pattern, Blues early, mid morning it will be Whiting with a mix of Pompano and throw in a few Snook and it makes for a nice day.  Slot Snook seem to be at the beach  taking plugs and live baits, fishing early you will have to deal  with the Blues, but these fish are up close, north and south not east, shallow water is their location. Yes, a small Whiting will get their attention for you anglers that want to sit but I am a walker, have to keep moving and I don’t know why.   The only catch not reported has been a Tarpon, when that happens it is summer.
Trout, early in the shallows then deeper as the sun rises, mix in a Red or three with a Flounder and you must be fishing  in the area of Power Plant, top water, soft rubber and the poor old shrimp have kept anglers busy.  Lots of Ribbon Fish at the bridges, careful these fish have big teeth and lots of them, if you are not sure cut the leader and attach a new hook, best to be safe not chewed on.  Plenty of Drum, Snapper and Blue Fish to keep busy with and wait for the sun to go down then it is Snook, our bridges make for good fishing.
