Sebastian inlet Report

06-12-13 WEDNESDAY: REDS, BLUES, JACKS, BLUERUNNERS, PERMIT, SPANISH MACKEREL AND BONNETHEADS

The wind is barely blowing out of the Northeast, 2 mph and the water is calm. The no see 'ums are out in force, be sure to take insect repellent with you if you head to the inlet.

Fishing has been hit or miss but when the fish are biting, we are seeing a nice variety of species. Some real nice Permit, Spanish Mackerel, Jacks, a few Blues and Bluerunners, Spadefish, slot and oversized Reds, C/R Snook and Bonnethead Sharks have been coming over the rails of the jetties. There have been a lot of greenies in the water and the water has been very clear.

Our first photo is of Robert Young of Orlando who landed this beautiful Permit using crabs.
Angela Talana of Orlando landed the Guitarfish in photo two she was using shrimp and returned the fish to the water right after the photo.
