Sebastian Inlet Report

It's still windy at the inlet with a mix of sun and clouds this morning. Winds are blowing out of the Southeast at 25mph and the water is choppy. There is a small craft advisory in effect through Friday morning.

The action seems to be improving at the inlet. As we see the water temperature climb, we should see more and more activity at the inlet. Schools of baitfish should start making their way in and out of the inlet, drawing in those yummy species we love to catch and devour as they start their migration back north.

Big Blues, nice sized Sheepshead and good sized Pompano have all been coming over the rails the past two days. A few Spanish Mackerel are out there but we're not seeing those in good numbers or size yet.

The tide pool has reopened to the public! The tide pool has a nice wading shelf for the little ones and farther out, deeper depths for swimming. Many thanks to the engineers and contractors for such an efficient, expedient job. Well done!
