Sebastian Inlet Report

11-08-12 THURSDAY: BLACK DRUM, SHEEPSHEAD, POMPANO, FLOUNDER, BLUES, JACKS, SPANISH MACKEREL AND MARGATE

We have another brisk morning at the inlet. Winds are blowing out of the North-Northwest at 14 mph and gusting to 20. The water is choppy and small craft should exercise caution.

Black Drum continue to dominate the catch at the inlet. The Drum will usually succumb to clams, dead and live shrimp. Along with the Black Drum, we've seen some Pompano, Spanish Mackerel, Flounder, Jacks, Blues, Black Margate, and a few Reds and Snook.

Our first photo today features two of our inlet regular ladies, Diane Buyce of Melbourne and "Granny" of Melbourne with two Black Drum that measured 27" and 29".

Photo two is of Ruben Lopez of Jacksonville. Ruben was visiting last weekend when he landed this real nice 26" slot Red.

Photo three
feature Meir Ganon of Deerfield Beach,  a 5 lb. Pompano, Sheepshead, smaller Pompano, croacker and Blues that were landed on the north beach.
