Sebastian Inlet Report

01-07-13 MONDAY: POMPANO, BLUES, BLACK DRUM, JACKS, SEA TROUT, REDS, SHEEPSHEAD AND A FEW FLOUNDER

Winds are blowing out North-Northeast at 21 mph and gusting to 25 this morning. There is a moderate chop on the water.

We don't have a lot of anglers out on the north jetty this morning, but the south beach is dotted with anglers, who are likely fishing for Pompano. We have had some nice landed off the beaches, according to Tommy Turowski of the Sebastian Inlet Bait and Tackle Shop. Tommy also reported that Blues, Sheepshead, Black Drum, Reds, Sea Trout were active over the weekend. A few Flounder were landed from the rocks of the north jetty and on the south side as well.
