From James Cronk @ Whites Tackle - Ft Pierce / Stuart

Inshore
the fan has been on high all weekend.  but as the week go's on its looking better. this weekend looks good.if you can hide from the wind and rain and can find clean water the fishing has been good. I was out Sunday in north fort pierce with the fly rod and  jumped off 6 Tarpon missed a few Snook had a few sheepshead we landed a really nice redfish in skinny skinny water. the trout and redfish are in thick. snook fishing is so,so in deeper water we need a few hot days with no rain and snook fishing will get much better as for you stuart guys go north the dirty water sucks north of Jensen beach and the water starts look better.
Bass fishing
bass are moving on the bed for your fly guys this is your time to get a fatty 20lb and a 8 or 9wt try to play the fish out its out photo and back in the water the less stress the better off the fish are going to be .. black flashy flies with a cone or barbell eyes will be a go to fly for me over the next few weeks the peacock fishing will start getting real good as they start moving on the beds if you have not done this style of fishing and are from up north think of a smallmouth bass with more fight in it thats how good peacock bass fishing is.                                                                                                                       photo courtesy of Hai Truong @ haitruongfishing.com
