Sebastian Inlet Report

06-06-12 WEDNESDAY: MANGROVE SNAPPER, SPANISH MACKEREL, SPOTS, AND SNOOK

We have an overcast morning at the inlet. Winds are blowing out of the Southwest at 11 mph and the water is clean and calm.

We received an update from inlet regular Mike Ricciardi of Vero Beach who was on the north jetty yesterday morning and reported a slow bite. The water was crystal clear and you could see lots of Snook swimming around, a few huge Goliath Groupers, lots of small Margate and a lot of bait stealing Spots. Tony and Linda of Melbourne Beach were the only ones who landed any decent fish while Mike was there; they landed 5 or 6 Mangrove Snapper, it's good to see those moving back in!
