Sebastian Inlet Report

06-27-12 WEDNESDAY: MANGROVE SNAPPER, SPANISH MACKEREL, REDS AND JACKS

Hang on to your fishing hats anglers; it's another overcast and windy morning at the inlet. Winds are blowing out of the South-Southwest at 18 mph and gusting to 25. There is a small craft advisory in effect through early Thursday morning, which likely will continue. Always check the coastal forecast prior to going offshore.

We haven't had a lot of people out fishing in the wind and drizzling rain, but Tommy Turowski at the Inlet Bait and Tackle Shop reported there are some big Reds on the outgoing tide, Mangrove Snapper, Jacks and a few Spanish Mackerel have been biting as well.
