Sebastian Inlet Report

05-03-13 FRIDAY: SNOOK, REDS, BLUES, BONITO, FLOUNDER, JACKS, SEA TROUT AND TARPON

Skies are overcast at the inlet again this morning. The wind is calm this morning; blowing out of the North-Northwest at 2 mph and gusting to 5. We will probably see some changes as a small craft advisory remains in effect through Saturday evening. It looks as if the boaters will not have a very good weekend, but shore based anglers could see some action.

Yesterday, there were some big Bonito skirting around the jetties, we haven't seen many of those lately. Big Jacks continue to give anglers a work out along with large and keeper Reds, oversized and slot Snook, a nice Pompano every now and then and Flounder. On the flats, Sea Trout and Tarpon have been active.
Our photo today is of Sean Stowers with something big enough to bend his rod over at sunset on Sunday.
