Pomps

Most of the locals have moved on to seeking river and off shore fish, BUT! The pompano are here on their migratory mission back north. Why not take a shot at some phenomenal eating Silver Nuggets?
Current conditions are rough but the water clarity is ripe to catch these sidewinder's. The fishing has been consistent from Normandy Beach south thru Tiger Shore's and into Stuart Public Beaches. Best tides? Two hours before the high tide and 2 hours past. The sandbars are easily reachable and the fish are running parallel to the inside edge of the bar. Cast on top of the bar or any revealing white bubble flat area. Any upwelling will churn up the crabs and crustacean that these fish will feed on. The best pompano rigs should made with fluorocarbon especially during clear but rough days. There are pomps stretched out as far south as Ft. Lauderdale. Blanched fleas are consistently out fishing the livies. The reason for this is that the pink blanched fleas attract the visual feeders and also the livies blend in with the renourishment sand. At this time of year the white floats, white and the pink pills are RED HOT! Tight Lines! Pompano Rich
