Sebastian Inlet Report

03-03-15 TUESDAY: SNOOK, REDS, BLACK DRUM, BLUES, TROUT, SHAEPSHEAD AND POMPANO

It's a gorgeous morning at the inlet. Winds are blowing out of the North at 4 mph, gusting to 5 and there is a light chop on the water. Although the forecast is calling for a partly cloudy day today, we have bright blue skies this morning. There are no NOAA advisories at this time.

Fishing remains hit or miss, some real nice fish have presented themselves to our more patient (or lucky) anglers. A little bit of everything has been coming over the rails of the north jetty. We've seen more Snook lately along with Reds, Blues, Sheepshead, Pompano, Black Drum and Spotted Trout making appearances at the inlet.

We are featuring Josh Simmonds of the United Kingdom again today. Josh and two friends came a long way to fish the Sebastian Inlet and did quite well, considering the circumstances of cold, windy conditions. Josh is featured with a large, C/R Snook that was released unharmed right after the photo.
