Sebastian Inlet Report

03-05-15 THURSDAY: JACKS, SPANISH MACKEREL, BLUES, SNOOK, REDS, SHEEPSHEAD, TROUT AND POMPANO

It's another beautiful morning at the Sebastian Inlet. Winds are blowing out of the South at 12 mph, gusting to 19 and there is a moderate chop on the water. There are no NOAA advisories this morning. We have clouds and sun forecasted for today with a good chance of rain this evening. With temperatures in the 80's today, let's be grateful that we aren't shoveling snow! Get out and enjoy the wonderful weather!

We are seeing a little more action at the inlet. The bite has picked up and Tommy Turowski at the Sebastain Inlet reported that Spanish Mackerel, small Blues and Jacks were hitting this morning. We've also seen Snook, Reds, Trout, Blues, Sheepshead, Flounder, Pompano and Snapper, but nothing in large numbers yet.

Our first photo today features Luke Vila of Kissimmee. who fished the mangroves on the shoreline at night and landed some good sized Blues and Snapper.
Photo two features Josh Simmonds of the United Kingdom. who is featured with a Black Drum he landed off the north jetty.
