From Native Tackle - Sebastian

INSHORE
This past week the trout have been around the spoil islands and the flats, 2-4' use live shrimp.  Anglers have been having good luck with the redfish fishing the mangrove edges, the oyster bars and back in the Sebastian River.  The black drumand sheepshead bite has remained steady, fish the docks using live/frozen shrimp.  Reports are coming in that along with the black drum and sheepshead, anglers are having fun catching the mangrove snapper as well.  A little on the small side though.  For best results.... anglers are fishing the clam leases using Doc's goofy jigs for the pompano.  The Flounder bite has slowed down but with this cool weather the bite should be good.  Best to fish with mud minnows for flounder!
INLET
Redfish, sheepshead,  snook, flounder, spanish mackerel, trout and a bunch of  jacks and blues has been the bite for the past week.
SURF
Anglers fishing for pompano say that they get one or two but the winds have forced a lot of anglers to sit this week out.  Along with the pompano, the whiting andblues are still going strong in the surf.
