                                Catch 365
                 "Beach Snooking, Part 1...

Picking out the signs"
Like many things fishing related, one of the biggest keys to catching summertime snook along the beach is "reading" the water and picking out the signs. The beach in general tends to all look the same to the untrained eye.
Sometimes the signs are as subtle as a few scattered barley exposed rocks or a slight trough a foot or deeper than the surrounding areas; and sometimes they jump out at you like the knot of glass minnows pictured.
Either way it is very important to take notice of things (both large and small) that the snook are relating to, keying in on, or avoiding; and use those signs to your advantage!
