Sebastian Inlet Report

06-08-16 WEDNESDAY: DRUM, REDS AND JACKS

Inlet anglers can expect showers and possibly a thunderstorm after noontime today. The high should be 85. Winds will start out southwesterly at 5 to 10 mph becoming east-southeast by the afternoon. The chance of precipitation is 80%.

For the boaters, it's a moderate chop on the intracoastal with widespread showers and scattered thunderstorms.

Anglers are reporting a pretty consistent catch of drum, reds, and jacks during the past few days. And, there's some decent bait showing up in the water especially around the mangroves.

Our picture of the day is from Larry Barrios of Orlando. Larry was on the south jetty using cut bait when he hooked up this nice C/R red.
