From Whites Tackle- Ft. Pierce

Inshore, the opening morning of snook season, did so with little fanfare. White's Tackle's own Kadri  reported catching 2 over the slot limit snook and quite a few bluefish after midnight on the south jetty. Vince  caught 2 keeper snook trolling plugs near the draw of the north bridge last night. The catwalk of the south bridge has been providing land locked anglers with bluefish, sandperch and black margate. Trout fishing in the lagoon remains strong in deeper water areas. Live shrimp and jigs have been working well for the trout and we are still getting reports of pompano in the inlet and the turning basin.
