Sebastian Inlet Report

02-01-12 WEDNESDAY: FISHING IS SLOW

SNOOK SEASON IS OPEN UNTIL MAY 31st! One per person per day, between 28" - 32". Make sure you have your Snook stamp on your fishing license if you plan on keeping one.

It's a beautiful morning at the inlet. Winds are blowing out of the Southeast at 5 mph and there is a moderate chop on the water.

We haven't had a lot of activity at the inlet as far as fishing goes, but it's always great to get out there and spend some time soaking up the beauty. Fish have been landed very sporadically. A Black Drum, Sheepshead, Pompano, Flounder or Sea Trout will find its way to a lucky angler every now and then, but it has been pretty slow.

Sebastian Inlet State Park Ranger Ed went fishing after work last night and sent the photo of a small Spotted Sea Trout that was released.
