Sebastian Inlet Report

09-15-15 TUESDAY: MANGROVE SNAPPER, REDS, SNOOK, JACKS AND LOOKDOWNS

Winds are blowing out of the Northeast at 12 mph this morning and gusting to 14. Seas are 3 - 4' with a dominate period of 5 seconds. NOAA is calling for the wind to increase later this afternoon. Small craft should exercise caution. Waters are choppy on the ICW as well.

The bite is improving. We are still seeing a lot of Mangrove Snapper that have preferred live shrimp lately. Large pods of finger mullet are being blown out by hungry schools of Snook. Reds, mostly oversized are coming over the rails along with Jacks, straggler Lookdowns and an occasional Mutton Snapper.
