Sebastian Inlet Report

09-08-15 TUESDAY: MANGROVE SNAPPER, REDS, SNOOK AND JACKS

We have a beautiful morning at the inlet. Winds are blowing out of the South-Southwest at 6 mph, gusting to 8 and there is a light chop on the water. NOAA is calling for a chance of showers and thunderstorms later today. Forecasters are calling for drier conditions tomorrow.

Over the weekend we saw Mangrove Snapper, oversized and slot Reds, oversized and slot Snook and Jacks come over the rails of the jetties. There are a few Blue Runners, a Flounder or two, Tarpon and Trout. We still have plenty of bait in the water.

Our photo today is courtesy of Mike Ricciardi of Vero Beach. Mike took this shot of Tommy Ngo of Melbourne. Tommy landed his 25" slot Red off the north jetty.
